The Feminist Movement!

This blog is a new beganing. Not only for the readers, but also for myself. I am excited to learn more about the feminist movement and I hope you come along this journey with me! To introduce myself, I'd like for you to know that I am new to the feminist movement and I don't actually know a lot about it. I think this is an advantage for me, and for you becuase a fresh, open mind will be reviewing history and coming up with opinions about the feminist movement. I think this is a wonderful topic becuase I can learn as well as inform other people about what the feminist movement is all about! 

To help you get to know me I would like to tell you a little bit about my life. I am a High school senior attending Early College Alliance at Eastern Michigan University. I love to learn and often tell my friends and peers that I'd like to be a student forever. After graduating, I plan to study pharmcy. I am a very family oriented person and love my twin sisters, little brother, and my parents. I owe everything to them for supporting me and always being there for me. I grew up in a small town called Milan, but I live for the big city. My dream place to live is New York City. I absoutely love to travel and my dream is to visit every country. While growing up, I was exposed to all kinds of people from different cultures. I think that has helped me to have an open mind and help me to except people for who they are. It has alsointrigued me to want to learn more about people and how society treats and categorizes  people. I think the feminist movement can help me do that. I hope that reading this back ground informtion can help you to understand where I come from and why I think the way I do.
